National Infantry Museum

Learn about the history of infantry combat in the United States at this City of Columbus museum. The museum has stories, exhibits and artifacts relating to armed combat from all eras of American history. These include exhibits from all the way back to the American Revolution to recent events in Afghanistan. Uniforms, weapons and other artifacts can be seen all around the museum.

Honor those who have passed on in combat at the two major memorials here. There is a ¾-scale replica of the Vietnam War memorial wall at the museum in Columbus, GA. The Global War on Terrorism Memorial is dedicated to those who have died in post-9/11 combat and includes a large steel beam gathered from the New York World Trade Center.
