Museum of Aviation
Discover the world of the United States Air Force at the Museum of Aviation. Located near the Robins Air Force Base, this is one of the most popular attractions to visit while in Warner Robins, Georgia.
See the many bombers, fighters, cargo planes, helicopters and other aircraft on display all around the museum field in the City of Warner Robins. These include various planes made by Boeing, Lockheed, Douglas and Fairchild. Check out a few of the missiles that are on display as well. The aircraft is situated inside a mix of both outdoor and indoor spaces with many of these spots designed to resemble traditional aircraft hangars.
Walk into one of the cargo planes on display. Many of the cargo planes are open for up-close tours so you can learn about what the inside of such a plane looks like and how it can be used for transporting all sorts of items for critical missions.
Be amazed as you see the SR-71A Blackbird. This aircraft is famous for setting the absolute speed record of nearly 2,200 miles per hour. The plane achieved this record in 1976. The plane has been carefully refurbished to appear as it originally did when it completed its historic flight.
